چکیده

From the non-equilibrium critical relaxation study of the two-dimensional Ising model, the dynamical critical exponent z is estimated to be 2.165 ± 0.010 for this model. The relaxation in the ordered phase of this model is consistent with exp(− √ t/τ ) behavior. The interface energy of the threedimensional Ising model is studied and the critical exponent of the correlation length ν and the critical amplitude of the surface tension σ0 are estimated to be 0.6250± 0.025 and 1.42± 0.04, respectively. A dynamic Monte Carlo renormalization group method is applied to the equilibrium properties of the three-dimensional Ising model successfully.

Influence of Interface Thermal Resistance on Relaxation Dynamics of Metal-Dielectric Nanocomposite Materials under Ultrafast Pulse Laser Excitation

Nanocomposite materials, including noble metal nanoparticles embedded in a dielectric host medium, are interesting because of their optical properties linked to surface plasmon resonance phenomena. For studding of nonlinear optical properties and/or energy transfer process, these materials may be excited by ultrashort pulse laser with a temporal width varying from some femtoseconds to some hund...

Degenerate Ising model for atomistic simulation of crystal-melt interfaces.

One of the simplest microscopic models for a thermally driven first-order phase transition is an Ising-type lattice system with nearest-neighbour interactions, an external field, and a degeneracy parameter. The underlying lattice and the interaction coupling constant control the anisotropic energy of the phase boundary, the field strength represents the bulk latent heat, and the degeneracy quan...

Algebraic rate of decay for the excess free

This is the rst of two papers devoted to the study of a non{local evolution equation that describes the evolution of the local magnetization in a continuum limit of an Ising spin system with Kawasaki dynamics and Kac potentials. We consider sub{critical temperatures, for which there are two local equilibria, and begin the proof of a local nonlinear stability result for the minimum free energy p...

Magnetic Properties and Phase Transitions in a Spin-1 Random Transverse Ising Model on Simple Cubic Lattice

Within the effective-field theory with correlations (EFT), a transverse random field spin-1 Ising model on the simple cubic (z=6) lattice is studied. The phase diagrams, the behavior of critical points, transverse magnetization,  internal energy, magnetic specific heat are obtained numerically and discussed for different values of p the concentration of the random transverse field.

Interface free energy

" Interface free energy is the contribution to the free energy of a system due to the presence of an interface separating two coexisting phases at equilibrium ". It is also called interfacial free energy or surface tension. The content of the article is 1) the definition of the interface free energy from first principles of statistical mechanics; 2) a detailed exposition of its thermodynamical ...
